Technical Officers - Social and Community Engagement
Wild Asia is looking for motivated individuals who will be able to manage the technical support services that Wild Asia provides to our partners. For this position, the work will be focusing on social issues and community engagement (and other technical assessments) and coordinating other specialist inputs as required by our partners. Experience with the RSPO (or related Standards) is useful but not necessary.
What are we looking for? Someone with good leadership skills, is confident and able to create good rapport with managers and executives in plantation companies. The person should have a strong technical background (qualification or experience) in a relevant and related discipline (e.g., to be able to conduct for example either social assessment, community mapping and engaging). Technical management skills will be an advantage to organize meetings, coordinate activities, and conduct focus-group meetings. Above all, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude; is proactive and is able to problem solve independently.
