MANAGER LEVEL

1. Project Manager for Regional Support Unit

Project Manager is the key to help Wild Asia become as successful as we can be. We rely on your knowledge and hands-on experience to help running the projects while evaluate the current performance of the team and project outputs to find ways to help the them reach theirs full potential.

Job Scopes

  • Lead & manage the Regional Support Unit team on their activities and work plans.
  • Responsible for the implementation of our Sustainability Program at respective project sites.
  • Lead on any and all external certification/verification activities on-site.
  • Manage networking with key stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Must have strong communication skills. They are required in order to communicate, present, assert and speak to all the different stakeholders involved.
  • Able to set goals, plan and manage projects, manage the risks involved, calculate budgets, cost, time and teams working on ongoing projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest issues in the industry.
  • Required skills: Management and Leadership Skill, good interpersonal skills, committed, motivated with good working attitude, initiative & integrity.
  • Required languages: strong competency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

2. Technical Lead Manager

Technical Lead Manager needs to play a balance act of managing technical processes and teams along with using your technical skills to provide the necessary knowledge for project success. The job of a technical manager is highly complex and requires efficiency in both technical as well as management fields. You must abel to wear several hats of proficiently handling teams, estimate project budgets, schedule project timelines, arrange for resources and also help in solving technical problems as and when needed.

Job Scopes

  • Lead & manage the Technical Support Unit team on their activities and work plans.
  • Responsible for the delivery of key projects outputs in line with Wild Asia’s Sustainability Program.
  • Represents Wild Asia and its values and various events.
  • Manage and meet client expectations by ensuring the team deliverables on professional technical support and that high quality are met.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in conducting technical assessments (EIA, SIA, HCV) with basic knowledge of GIS.
  • Able to set goals, plan and manage projects, manage the risks involved, calculate budgets, cost, time and teams working on ongoing projects.
  • An understanding of the palm oil sector specifically in Malaysia together with RSPO & other palm-oil related sustainability standard requirements.
  • Required skills: Management and Leadership Skill, good interpersonal skills, committed, motivated with good working attitude, initiative & integrity.
  • Required languages: strong competency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

COORDINATOR LEVEL

3. Project Financial Coordinator


Project Financial coordinator is the role that less seen but much need in any organisation to deliver a successful and smooth operation. We look for a person with and excellent problem solving skill who possess a knowledge of office management systems and procedures with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and function well with minimum supervision. An ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively both verbally and in writing is a must.

Job Scopes

  • Compile data & reconcile expense for financial reports
  • Collect, analyze, and report on financial data in databases, documents, and presentations
  • Review, track and manage incoming funds and outgoing expenses of the projects.
  • Verify, schedule, and prepare transaction information.
  • Ensure and maintain records and all filings in a timely and accurate manner into the system.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as requested.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, as well as at least three years’ experience working in a finance environment with ability to critical think.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are required.
  • Required skills: good interpersonal skills, able to work with minimum supervision, committed, motivated with good working attitude, initiative & integrity.
  • Have extensive knowledge in the finance field, and they must be proficient in basic computer software.
  • Required languages: strong competency in English and Bahasa Malaysia

4. Field Programme Coordinator (Based in Sabah)

    As a Field Programme Coordinator, you will be based in field project site in Sandakan to help communities to bring about social and environmental change and improve the quality of life. You will work with individuals, families and whole communities to empower them to identify their assets, needs, opportunities, rights and responsibilities and to plan what they want to achieve and take appropriate action.

As a Field Programme Coordinator you will act as the link between palm oil producer communities and a range of other local stakeholders and programme partners.

Job Scopes

  • Establish rapport with a wide range of local partners: from local businesses to community members. You will need to be able to credibly disseminate information about the programme to potential partners and supporters.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the programme including establishing network, conducting training, farm visiting, and progress monitoring.
  • Manage resources including personnel and logistics, coordinate and implement on-site activities, and produce reports reflecting the outputs.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or demonstrable experience in related fields such as agronomy, agriculture, social or environmental sciences.
  • Personable and positive attitude, both within the office and out in the community.
  • Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Passionate about neighbourhood development, resident participation, and the idea of people working together to create positive change. Has demonstrated vision and creativity
  • Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Gmail system.
  • Experience or some knowledge in palm oil cultivation or agronomy.
  • Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and function
    independently in a busy office environment. Must have demonstrated experience managing multiple
    projects at once.
