Biodiversity Programme Field Coordinator
Wild Asia is looking for motivated individuals who will be managing operations of Wild Asia’s newly established position in Borneo. You will work closely with the Biodiversity Programme Manager and WA members based in Sabah and/or Sarawak to ensure projects run smoothly. You will also take a leading role in fieldwork preparation and collection, as well as supervising students/internship candidates/volunteers. Experience in conducting fieldwork in Borneo is highly desirable, but experience in other parts of Asia is also acceptable. You will be expected to help plan and run seminars/workshops involving project partners and smallholder farmers, are able to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of office, training events, and special projects.

Technical Officers for Palm Oil Small Producers
Wild Asia has embarked on an exciting new challenge to create groups of small producers to meet the expectations of the International community. We are currently trying to focus on having the groups RSPO certified. To learn more about this initiative, visit this overview here.
We are on the look out for people to join our team:
- Project Coordinators to work in Sabah, Krabi (Thailand) and West Malaysia
- Social science or related disciplines, or experience with community engagement or worker/labour experience
- Palm oil (or agronomic) experience to provide technical extension support to small holders
Chinese Technical Assistant
Wild Asia is on the look out for a motivated and independent assistant to be able to translate between English-Chinese, has a background in social or environmental work, and has an interest in influencing responsible sourcing of natural products (like rubber, timber and palm oil). He/She would ideally be based in Taiwan, but we would also be open to explore those living within the same time-zone!
