Wild Asia does not work with animals, at least not directly. What we do is try to work with business organisations to do less damage to our environment, or find ways to motivate individuals to speak up and take action for their own environment. This is based on a simple reality. We cannot stop the march of development and the only way to keep wild places wild is to engage the businesses that are doing the damage.
Promoting Change
Sharing what we have learnt is a key part of what we do. We do this through our innovative workshops, or by giving public talks. We also work by promoting rewards that help encourage organisations to change.
About Wild Asia's Annual Responsible Tourism Awards
Wild Asia's Responsible Tourism Awards is the only tourism award of its kind in Asia. We believe that we need to reward, share and inspire change from within the travel industry, beginning with operators closest to us.

Leaders in Destinations
"Leaders in Destinations" is a training programme for Responsible Tourism that has been crafted to raise the level of awareness on issues surrounding tourism and sustainability. This workshop aims to highlight the best responsible tourism practices in Asia and encourage others to implement their own RT system in their business. Inspiring change is, after all, our motto!

We have started to source products that will be not only great for you, but also goes towards supporting worthy causes - be it products supporting communities, products that are kind to the environment, or goods that are part of a fair-trade scheme.
Engaging Businesses
Wild Asia is confident working with businesses because we understand what sustainability values are and what sustainability standards mean for businesses in forestry, agriculture or tourism. It is our extensive experience dealing with sustainability standards like Forest Stewardship council (FSC) or Round table for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) that provides us with the tools, the approach, and the confidence to work with businesses.
How we can Help
With practical experience gained over the years, we have built a unique set of skills to help promote responsible agriculture. We help buyers assess their producers. We help producers make sense of International standards. We also go down to the ground to conduct conservation, social or community assessments.

About our Natural Corridor Initiative
