Snapshot of Wild Asia

Wild Asia has built up a wide experience base in dealing with the complexities and challenges of promoting sustainability. We have worked in a number of key sectors which include forestry, tourism, plantations, mining and other corporate sectors. Although we have developed our learning's out of Malaysia, we have found our work extending to other parts of the world.

We use our technical knowledge of sustainability and the experiences we gain from working with businesses from different sectors to advise, guide, and nurture new sustainability leaders.

Although our name suggest we work only with wild animals in Asia our goal is to minimise adverse impacts on the environment, ensure that local communities are engaged, and that local cultures are respected.

Wild Asia is a social enterprise. This means that we are largely funded by income from the services provided by our team. Our technical skills, experience working on field projects, and direct approach make us a unique partner; and set us apart from charities, NGOs, and other social causes.

Read more about the Wild Asia story, our Advisors and Team, or come join us as an intern/volunteer.

You can also learn more about what we do here: Sustainable Agriculture Initiative, Responsible Tourism Initiative, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Other innovative ideas and pilot initiatives can be found in our Ideas Lab, or take a break and browse our Reading Room.
