Wild Asia positions itself as a solution-driven organization, working with businesses to improve their social and environmental practices to meet and exceed global standards. This strategy allows us to ensure that businesses are committed in the long run to reduce their impacts on people, wildlife and the environment. Hence, our interns can expect a holistic learning approach, from theory to practical business implementations.

We are a small team with big ambitions! Hence there are many areas to work on depending on your interest and academic background - from field experience to market research to building portfolios. As the industries we work with are as diverse as the Wild Asia team, we are not limited to welcoming environmental sciences graduates, but also tourism, creative media and administration. Wild Asia welcomes interns from around the world. Recently we had the opportunity to host interns from Malaysia, France, Australia and Germany. Their work scope varies from field research conducting bird population survey and environmental impact assessments in an oil palm plantation in Sarawak to Responsible Tourism market surveys to consolidating database and administration. If you have 3 months or more to spare on a full-time basis, why not intern with us. We welcome people with diverse backgrounds who wish to spare some time working with us either on specific projects or for a set duration of time. We are favourable towards individuals who are proactive and initiative-driven team player, possess the ability to work independently with limited supervision and have the desire to learn about and support our mission.
