Volunteering with Wild Asia gives you the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team promoting social and environmental understanding of our natural world. Wild Asia is unique in that we strive to engage both the business and local communities to bring about an awareness and commitment to conservation. We are a small team and there is an opportunity for shared learning and for making meaningful contributions.
What would you gain from volunteering?
- Learn about the complexities of getting things done in Asia!
- Gain an insight into conservation issues from people who are passionate about their work.
Calling for Volunteers!
In the lead up to Earth Day and World Environment Day between April and June 2010, Wild Asia is looking for passionate and keen volunteers to be our ambassadors in the public events we will be participating.
Volunteers will assist in manning the Wild Asia booth during these events and will be given the platform to inspire people about keeping our delicate environment sustainable. If you have some free time between April and June, do send us an email by 31st March, 2010 with the following details:
- A brief introduction about yourself and your background
- Your availability
Volunteers are required to have;
- The ability to work independently and with limited supervision
- Presentable with good manners
- Brief understanding of Wild Asia and our programmes (feel free to browse our website to learn more about Wild Asia! We will brief all volunteers prior to events)
Please take note:
Volunteering is open to anyone living in Malaysia, 18 years old and above (citizen and non-citizen).
