Sustainability Audits - Setting the Baseline for Sustainability

A key entry point for most companies seems to be a baseline assessment with regards to assessing the company's operations against the RSPO Principles & Criteria for Sustainable Oil Palm Production. We have developed innovative methodologies, including audits, to better understand and evaluate management operations against these standards. This has been one of the core area of work for Wild Asia. These approaches have been adapted for a number of uses including supply-chain assurance, financial due diligence or assurance for buyers.

Biodiversity and Social Assessments - Getting Deeper Insights

Social, biodiversity and natural resource assessments are one of our core competencies and we have used this to help organisations gain an overview of the natural features, conservation values, social dimensions of workers and communities within a given area. These assessments provide the critical baseline information for developing good environmental or social management systems. Many of these assessments are compulsory with RSPO and Wild Asia has been a trusted partner to a number of companies to ensure that these assessments are done to the highest standards.

High Conservation Value Assessments - Avoiding Critical Habitats in Developments

High Conservation Value Assessments was a methodology developed to safeguard critical habitats from developments. This has been applied to forestry and oil palm and is now a global standard widely used by a number of certification systems (RSPO & FSC), financial institutions and other buyers. Wild Asia is able to conduct and review High Conservation Value Assessments. Wild Asia, and its core team members, are also registered with RSPO to provide such technical services.
