TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT - ASSISTANT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The position will be responsible for the development and implementation of an extension service for the company, its contractors and suppliers, to implement Keresa's Total Quality Management System.
• The role of the assistant manager will be to assist in the training, review and monitoring of Keresa's Total Quality Management System.
• Organize research that related to oil palm plantation for continuous improvement.
• Conduct land investigation for new development.
• Conduct and recommend new approach and method for improvement in estate practices/management.
• Reporting to the Total Quality Management Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at least a Degree or Master's Degree holders in Agriculture Sciences or related fields.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in similar position or in the oil palm plantation sector or related fields.
• Computer literate with intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to converse fluently in English, Bahasa Malaysia and able to converse in Iban will be an added advantage also good report/writing skills.
• Able to perform job independently and to facilitate discussions and meeting amongst workers and/or local community.
