Wild Asia in the media

by Wild Asia

Aside from social media, Wild Asia also actively engages with print media to spread our ideas and widen our reach. On top of that, we strive to educate and help the media better understand environmental sustainability issues.

Between 2003-2011, we have had several million ringgits worth of media coverage from about 469 media inserts (features, news coverage and highlights) in both print and electronic media and accumulated more than RM16 million worth of PR value. 286 inserts were related to our work on Responsible Tourism, 86 on our Natural Corridors Programme (on tree-planting and environmental education) and 77 are features on Wild Asia, among others.

Followers on our social networks are growing everyday. What's more impressive, our bi-monthly newsletter goes out to thousands of subscribers worldwide and our website has attracted over 160 thousand unique visitors in 2010 alone!
