Scaling Verified Carbon Sinks, One Farm at a Time.
Wild Asia empowers farmers and value-chain partners across Southeast Asia to adopt nature-positive practices that regenerate soils, restore ecosystems, and strengthen rural livelihoods.
By equipping farmers with practical tools, training, and financing—and by connecting them inclusively to mills, companies, and global markets—we are scaling verified carbon removals, protecting biodiversity, and building resilient rural economies.
Who We Are
Wild Asia is a Malaysian social enterprise dedicated to nature-positive agriculture and inclusive supply chains.
Founded in 2003, we’ve worked with farmers both big and small, mills, and corporations to demonstrate that palm oil and other crops can be produced in ways that are inclusive, regenerate ecosystems, strengthen rural livelihoods, and meet global sustainability goals.
Our Mission
To see smallholders and communities prosper, nature recover, and for regenerative agricultural land use, nature-based farming solutions and other natural resource management practices to become the norm — powered by people, guided by nature.
Our Approach
Ground Up
We empower farmers with practical tools, training, and regenerative methods that improve soil health, reduce costs, and strengthen livelihoods.
Value Chain Integration
We connect mills, traders, and brands to smallholders, creating inclusive supply chains that scale sustainable sourcing.
Climate Action
We turn farms into verified carbon sinks through nature-based solutions and smart, low-tech monitoring—delivering measurable climate impact.
Partnerships that replicate
We build regional networks across ASEAN, enabling proven solutions to replicate and grow at scale.
Climate Action Programmes
Wild Asia is transforming palm oil through interconnected programmes and innovative digital tools that deliver impact from farm to consumer.
Our work brings together smallholder farmers, mills, and global partners to scale inclusive, regenerative,
and climate-positive agriculture across Southeast Asia.
SPIRAL – Inclusive Palm Oil for Climate Impact
SPIRAL (Small Producer Inclusivity & Resilience Alliance) is our flagship programme transforming palm oil to benefit the climate and communities.
By linking mills, smallholders, and buyers, we create scalable models for regenerative farming, verified carbon removals, and transparent reporting.
Our Targets by 2035:
Support 10,000+ farmers across ASEAN
Restore 250,000 hectares as low-carbon, biodiverse farms
Deliver 1 Million+ tonnes of verified carbon sinks
WAGS – Smallholder Inclusion at Scale
The Wild Asia Group Scheme (WAGS) is our proven model for bringing independent smallholders into sustainable palm oil supply chains. WAGS lowers the barriers to certification, builds farmer resilience, and creates transparent, traceable networks that benefit both farmers and mills.
Our Impact So Far:
3,000+ farmers engaged
35,000+ hectares under sustainable management
10+ mills connected through inclusive sourcing
WAGS BIO – Regeneration from the Ground Up
WAGS BIO is our farmer-led programme for living soils and circular farming. By turning local agricultural waste into BIO fertilisers, compost, and biochar, farmers cut chemical costs, improve yields, and restore soil health. Demonstration plots and BIO hubs are living labs for regenerative agriculture.
Our Outcomes:
Lower input costs for farmers
Healthier soils and stronger crops
Carbon removal through biochar and compost systems
WAGS App – Digital Tools for Sustainable Farming
WAGS App creates a digital ecosystem that simplifies certification, improves farm data, and strengthens group management.
It connects farmers, extension agents, and the palm oil value chain, streamlining farm data collection and transforming it into actionable insights.
This empowers farmers, mills, and dealers, to make informed, sustainability decisions that strengthen traceability, resilience, and market access.
Key Features:
Easy farmer registration and group management
Real-time farm data capture and compliance evidence
Tools for mills, dealers, and partners to strengthen supply chains
